E.P. artwork and design for electronic music artist Letska. ‘Halt Into Again’ is a sonic exploration of organic and inorganic textures and timbres, and uses algorithm to inform the compositional structures in the music.  

The design process for this work involved treating photographic images through a series of mathematical noise generators to generate the visuals — randomicity, chance and repetition being key design strategies. The work is to be used in environments like Bandcamp, and on the forthcoming alternations.xyz website.

The work was developed through Max 8/9, and the typefaces for the project were Ductus Calligraphic (Amélie Dumont) for the display type and Method Mono (Slow Fonts) for the detailing type.
